Cecile, born in the NYC area, was the child of two French parents living in the US. Her father worked for the United Nations and the family would travel back and forth between the US and France, all throughout her childhood. As a result, she always enjoyed being an ambassador to her friends and family, bringing the two cultures together as often as she could.
Scott, in NYC for his masters degree, met Cecile and soon there was a large family wedding in France.
We have an apartment just outside of Paris. We were able to spend an 8 month sojourn there recently while our son attended an international school and worked on his French. While we plan to retire in France ourselves one day, we have learned so much from living in France that we have been consulting with retirees ever since.
Cecile has a Masters degree in Journalism from Northwestern University and worked in Television & Media production her entire career. Scott has a Masters degree from The New School for Social Research & Parsons School of Design and has worked in Software design his entire career.
